01 Ruled Ledger

Flat: no plate at all — the aside becomes a ruled ledger on the left, the form runs unboxed on the right with underline-only fields, and one hairline column rule splits the two. Sits flush under the hero's wave; the pull-up seam is retired.

02 Chart Plate

Surface: the live pull-up kept honest — the form docks over the hero seam on a chart-plate card (graticule cap, waterline keel) while the aside condenses to stacked numbered pills and a paper reassurance panel. The blue strip above is context chrome: the compact contact hero.

03 Portside Rail

Inversion: the aside takes the color — a deep-blue rail carries the email, the steps, and the reassurance in band type — while the form sits light and open on the white surface with paper-filled fields. Flat against the hero seam.

04 Message In The Log

The form as a full-width logbook page: the helper line becomes the page's display-serif prompt, each field is an oversized Playfair ask with a fill-in blank, the message writes on ruled log lines, and the aside shrinks to marginalia along the sheet's foot. Wildcard — bends layout/motif conventions; brand palette and Playfair/Rubik only.
