01 Flat Berths

The live composition with the elevation stripped out: same blue band, same paper crest, same negative-margin pull-up — but the berths are flat ruled plates (hairline border, blue top rule, serif names, no chip, no shadow), so the dock reads as quay planking rather than floating cards.

02 All Aboard

No pull-up: the quick links come aboard as frosted rows inside the band, under the sub, and the wave crests into the paper below completely clean — the seam reads pure, and the overview inherits an unobstructed paper top.

03 The Manifest

The hub opener defects to the light Chart family: white chart grid, ink display title with the orange swipe, the compass-chart rose off the right edge — and the dock flattened into a ruled ledger, with the sub's closing sentence as its kicker. The crest turns paper-on-white; on the real page this light top would sit directly under the blue site header (not simulated here).

04 Alongside

The seam stood on its end: band and dock sit alongside like ship and quay, the crest running vertically between them, and the berths pull LEFT across it — the signature move rotated 90 degrees (on narrow screens the seam lies back down between the stacked halves). The band's foot meets the paper overview as a hard edge. Wildcard — bends layout/motif conventions; brand palette and Playfair/Rubik only.
